Where to Go to Brunch in Sonoma County

Brunch on the weekends has become a popular way to enjoy the end of the weekend. It provides a way to relax with friends and family while enjoying a delicious late morning meal. Being right in wine country, Sonoma County offers both excellent food as well as incredible wines and other beverages. Here are some of the best places to have brunch in Sonoma County.

Dierk’s Parkside Café
404 Santa Rosa Ave., Santa Rosa
707.573.5955

Dierk’s Parkside Café was opened in 2006 by husband and wife team Mark and Karen. They had a vision to provide delicious food in a fun atmosphere, and that goal was achieved. The restaurant is unique and funky. Local art hangs on the walls and one might even see some chairs on the ceiling. Brunch is served all day Saturday and Sunday. The menu offers omelets, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, and sandwiches. One of the most popular menu items, however, is Grandma Dierk’s pull-a-parts, which consist of fried dough topped with cinnamon and sugar.

Wishbone
841 Petaluma Blvd. N, Petaluma
707.763.2662

Infuse your mornings with a dose of cool at Wishbone, where one of the attractions is an old-fashioned turntable. This diner-café’s retro vibe does not extend to the food, though, which is owners Miriam Donaldson’s and Josh Norwitt’s modern take on favorite comfort fare. Everything on the menu are made fresh daily using ingredients straight from the farm, including the restaurant’s own Scottish Highland beef. Must-tries include the Wishburger, the polenta dish aptly named Hot Mess, and the wild sourdough pancakes.

703 4th Street, Santa Rosa
707.843.7804
